About This Event

We are pleased to offer a five-session comparative religion class for adults (including high schoolers). The class will provide a rich and in-depth exploration of the major beliefs and significant practices of the faith traditions that surround us, including Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, and Islam. Paul Berman, who has taught comparative religion to our eighth graders for over 30 years at Temple Emanuel, will serve as leader. Depending on interest and scheduling, field trips to neighboring houses of worship would be included. We are asking participants to contribute $36 for all five sessions to cover the costs of snacks during class breaks. Classes are Thursdays at 7pm on the following dates: January 22; February 26; March 26; April 23; May 28.
