New Year for Animals Celebration Join the DC Tikkun Circle for a special community dinner celebrating the New Year for Animals, one of the four Jewish New Years. While this little known Jewish holiday has ancient roots and offers a timely opportunity to reflect on our relationship with animals today. As we prepare to enter the month of Elul and begin the spiritual journey toward the High Holidays, we’ll gather to celebrate compassion, community, and the shared responsibility to care for all living beings. Join us for an evening of delicious plant based food, thoughtful conversation, and meaningful connection with others who are interested in exploring the intersection of Jewish values, compassionate living, and sustainability. Whether you’re a longtime vegan, vegan curious, deeply connected to Jewish life, or simply looking for a welcoming community, we’d love to have you join us.
