Family Day: Tu B’shevat

We’re throwing a birthday party for the trees! Tree-lovers of all ages and from all backgrounds are welcome to learn, connect, and create while we celebrate all the wonderful gifts of the trees. Activities include: decorate a pot and plant seeds (workshops at 1:15 pm and 3:15 pm led by Pamela Ehrenberg and Casey Trees); dance and sing with the Washington Revels at 2pm; create a Tu B’shevat seder-inspired DIY trail mix snack; contribute to a “Thank You, Trees” community art build; and a themed exhibition scavenger hunt. Tickets are $5 per person (no family should pay more than $20).
