Hadar DC: Downtown Beit Midrash

Join the EDCJCC and Hadar for a monthly community beit midrash, where we’ll dive into the texts behind the holidays of Sukkot, Purim, Pesach, and more. Free to attend and open to adults of all backgrounds. We will spend some of our time learning together and there will be some time learning in havruta (paired learning). There will be a chance to daven Maariv together at the end. Snacks will be served. Free to register, but RSVP is required. About the Instructor: Rabbi Avi Strausberg is Senior Director of National Learning Initiatives at Hadar, and is based in Washington, D.C. She received her rabbinic ordination from Hebrew College in Boston and was a Wexner Graduate Fellow.
