Juneteenth Kabbalat Shabbat Service & Potluck Dinner

Sponsored by Sheldon Harris, in honor of retiring board members and new members. Join us for a special Kabbalat Shabbat service honoring Juneteenth, the holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. We’ll welcome Shabbat with song and prayer and kick off the weekend in community. Come early for our Summer Series Happy Hour beginning at 5:30 pm—an easy, relaxed way to connect before services. After the service, stay for our traditional potluck dinner. We’ll provide wine, drinks, and some food, as well as some noshes provided from local Black-owned businesses; you bring a dairy or vegetarian dish to share.
