About This Event

Join us on the Potomac River for one of our most meaningful annual traditions of the High Holy Day season. During the Ten Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Jewish communities around the world observe Tashlich, the ritual of symbolically casting away what no longer serves us as we begin the New Year. Together, we’ll paddle out on the Potomac, where the Den rabbis will guide us through this powerful ritual of reflection, release, and renewal. Afterward, you’re invited to linger by the river, enjoy the scenery, and share lunch with fellow Den Members as we continue the conversation on shore. This gathering will take place in Northwest DC. Kayak booking information and the meeting location will be shared with registrants after the registration deadline. Please note: In accordance with the Den’s security policy, only those who register by Wednesday, September 16 will receive kayak booking information and be able to participate in this gathering. Location details will be shared closer to the event date.
