Rosh Hashana Challah Bake + Learn

Welcome the sweetness of the New Year with an evening of baking, learning, and community! Together we’ll mix, braid, and bake our own challahs while exploring Jewish teachings and engaging in thoughtful conversation inspired by the themes of the High Holy Days. As our loaves rise in the oven, we’ll make space to reflect, connect, and prepare for the year ahead alongside friends old and new. At the end of the evening, you’ll head home with a freshly baked challah to enjoy during Rosh Hashanah… if it makes it home without a few warm bites disappearing first! We’ll gather in Bethesda, MD in a Metro-accessible location. Specific location details will be shared with registrants after the registration deadline. To help cover the costs of this gathering, we invite you to make a $20 contribution that supports the Den and helps us continue creating gatherings like this one.
