We Want Your Stuff: Help Us Tell Your Story

Did you know the Capital Jewish Museum is always collecting stories, artifacts, photographs, and documents related to the Jewish experience in the DMV? Collections Curator Jonathan Edelman will speak at 1:00 pm about CJM’s archives and what types of artifacts the museum collects. After the talk, schedule a 15-minute appointment (appointments required) with the Collections Curator or Director of Curatorial Affairs (appointment times 1:30–3:30 pm) to share photographs of artifacts and learn if they are a good fit for the collection. You can also schedule a 15-minute mini-oral history with Oral Historian Kerry Reed; bring the item or a photograph if the object is too large or fragile.
