About This Event

Instructors: Priscilla Askenas and Zina Segal Join us for a meaningful five-part series that celebrates the voices of Jewish women from our classical texts; bringing their wisdom into our contemporary homes. Each gathering offers an opportunity for both learning and creativity, exploring the leadership and legacy of a different woman from Jewish tradition, followed by crafting a unique item of Judaica connected to her story. Each project will be something one can proudly use in their own Shabbat and holiday rituals. Participants may register for a single session or purchase the full series at a discounted rate. Over the course of the program, participants will create their own full set of handmade ritual items: a challah board, kiddush cup, Shabbat candlesticks, a Havdalah candle, and a beautifully decorated tambourine. Series Schedule Tuesday, February 3 – Sarah: Shabbat Candlesticks Wednesday, March 4 – Miriam: Decorated Tambourine with Jewish Calligraphy Thursday, May 7 – Deborah: Handmade Havdalah Candle Fee: Individual Events – $25 Members / $30 Non-members All remaining 3 events: $60 Members / $75 Non-members
