Honeymoon Israel (HMI) is a national nonprofit that brings diverse couples - Jewish, interfaith, multicultural, LGBTQ, and those with varying levels of Jewish connection - on immersive, heavily subsidized group trips to Israel. The program is not a traditional “tour,” but rather an experience designed to help couples build community with one another while exploring Jewish life, identity, and tradition in ways that are personally meaningful. Each trip includes about 20 couples from the same city, combining visits to Israel’s historic and cultural sites with opportunities for reflection, dialogue, and celebration. After the trip, participants are supported in building lasting local connections and engaging in Jewish life back home, ensuring that HMI serves as a gateway to community rather than a one-time experience.
