Chanukah Holiday Market

$7 – $30Shop handmade goods from independent artists from holiday cards to jewelry to baked goods. It’s Etsy IRL! Join us for our annual EDCJCC Chanukah Holiday Market which will take place throughout the building. We’ll have musical performances by Jewish a capella group Makela, a hot chocolate bar, dinner food to purchase, and classes available for an additional ticket purchase. Get your tickets early and save – advance registration closes Wednesday, December 4, at 4:00 PM.
Watercolor Techniques & Holiday Card Making Class: 6:45-7:30 PM ($25)
Learn watercolor painting techniques from artist Rabbi Atara Cohen and make holiday cards.
Dried Flower Keepsake Class: 6:45-7:45 PM ($30)
Amanda Bean of District Harvests will lead a 60-minute dried flower keepsake class. Students can create a pressed flower frame to take home. All materials are provided, and all flowers are grown and dried in Amanda’s DC garden.
Babka Making Class: 7:45-8:30 PM ($30)
Make two babkas with a variety of fillings to take home to bake. Learn how to fill, braid, and hear about the best babka dough making techniques from Sara from It’s White Wolf Bakeshop
