Lunch and Learn presentation with Jordan Gorfinkel: Sefer Yona and Jewish Destiny

Join us for a communal Shabbat lunch with our scholar in residence, Jordan Gorfinkel. For nearly a decade Jordan was a manager of the Batman franchise at DC Comics, where his creations serve as inspiration for television, film, games and more. As a cartoonist, Jordan draws JewishCartoon.com, the weekly comic strip featured in newspapers and online. His Jewish Cartoon Workshop, for schools and camps, gets participants of all ages and backgrounds drawing comics about the Torah portion of the week and other Jewish themes.
