Deep Dive: Grief & Judaism

July 5, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$36

This class is geared for people in their 20s and 30s, whether you’ve experienced loss or you want to learn how to support your loved ones who have or will experience loss. Judaism teaches that we are commanded to host shiva, a communal display of mourning in the immediate days after death, and to remain in public mourning for an entire year. Judaism teaches us to lean on our neighbors rather than try to stand alone on shaky legs. I am excited to begin to form the community I have seeked for so long and to use the teachings of Judaism to help me heal.
