Ides of March Shabbat

March 15 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

1,876 years before the invention of his namesake, the salad dressing, Julius Caesar died at the hands of 40 of his closest enemies, at the foot of a statue of his best frenemy. This Ides of March, we will be honoring the death of Caesar with our Kill Your Enemies Shabbat. You’ve probably never been to a Kill Your Enemies party, so you are not going to want to miss this one.
We are asking all our guests to bring at least one enemy, frenemy, rival, person you often compete with, or anyone that you can make a credible case is in some way your enemy. Some examples include any ex boyfriend/girlfriends, people you compete with in a sporting league, people that went to a rival college, roommates that do not put dishes away, family members that claim to be mom’s favorite, people that work for your direct competitors, people you have political differences with, people that root for rival sports teams, etc. We encourage you to be creative when thinking of who your enemies are. The closer they are to being an actual enemy, the more fun you will have. Over the course of the evening, everyone will have an opportunity to kill their enemies. And–and this is important–they will have a chance to kill you. So you may not want to bring anyone too much stronger than you.
Of course, this is a Roman themed party. Italian food will be served, and togas are highly encouraged.
