Introduction to Crochet

August 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$18

Are you crafty? Do you wish you had more mindfulness (slowing down with focus) in your life? If so, this introductory class on how to crochet is perfect for you!

You’ll pick up the basic techniques of crochet – slip knot, chain, single stitch, and even double crochet. Make a basic square – the core piece of a blanket – using the provided crochet hook and yarn.

In a future class tba (and hopefully a new special interest group of fiber artists), learn to create the more detailed granny square – a crochet staple used to make throws (blankets or shawls). Come to relax and acquire a new skill!

Note: Class registration is limited to 12 participants, on a first come first served basis.

Instructor: Sophia Spike, Seasoned Crocheter
