Welcome to the Herut DC March Dinner!
We will learn about the malign regional influence of Iran’s current theocratic regime — how it not only tyrannizes over its own population, but also leads an axis of terrorist proxy groups against Israel and other American allies in the Middle East. We will discuss how Israel has confronted that Iran-led axis since October 7, 2023, and how it might work with the United States to roll back the Iranian regime’s oppressive regional influence — and we will situate this discussion within the context of the historical relationship between the Jewish and Persian peoples, particularly as illustrated by the story of Purim.
