Enjoy a communal dinner, led by the Social Action Committee, with engaging break-out groups for discussion and connection and guest speaker Brian L. Schwalb, Attorney General of the District of Columbia.
AG Brian Schwalb will share his thoughts on what we can do as a community, congregation and as a city to be ready to take action when called upon because of action of the new administration. He will focus on what we can and can’t do under existing laws and institutions if the incoming administration oversteps in our local affairs to ensure our safety and autonomy.
