Pride Shabbat@WHC Featuring Metro Minyan

June 7 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

PRIDE IN COMMUNITY
PRIDE IN FAITH
PRIDE IN LOVE

LGBTQ+ Community and allies alike, kick off Pride Month with our annual Pride Shabbat!

Join us and our partners in prayer, song, laughter, and commitment as we nosh and toast our strong, growing, WHC LGBTQ+ community!
This event is not just for those who identify as LGBTQ+. Now, more than ever, we need our allies to come out in force and show your support for our community. Please join us and invite friends who want to celebrate who they are and/or may need a welcoming and inviting space to do so. Families of all kinds and kids/teens are welcome!

At 6:30 pm and again after the service: Have something to eat (to tide you over or as your dinner), a drink (we offer a full bar, plus non-alcoholic options), and connect with your community.

Kids are always welcome, and they’ll be able to eat before (and after) the service, play Connect 4, Jenga, and cornhole games, create at a coloring table, and do other arts & crafts activities.

Also at 6:30 pm this week: Join us for a Shot of Torah led by Rabbi Noa Sattath, Executive Director of The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI).

7:00 pm – Our Shabbat service begins.

After the service – Stay for dessert, or more dinner and drinks!

Pride Shabbat is sponsored by generous donations from the WHC community to our LGBTQ+, 2239, and Membership initiatives.
