Remembering Their Stories: Yom Hashoah | Holocaust Memorial Day

May 7 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a poignant evening of remembrance as we gather virtually on Tuesday May 7th at 7:30 PM to commemorate Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. This solemn occasion serves as a tribute to the survivors who endured the unimaginable horrors of the Holocaust, some of whom ultimately even fought bravely in Israel’s early wars. Their resilience and fortitude shaped the history of a nation and inspire us to reflect on the enduring echoes of their experiences.

As we pay homage to these remarkable individuals, we’ll delve into the powerful narrative of a survivor’s journey, encapsulating the essence of resilience, courage, and hope. Through bearing witness to their stories, we honor the memory of those lost and the indomitable spirit of survival that continues to resonate through generations.

This event will feature a special segment dedicated to “My Mother’s Story,” a member’s heartfelt tribute to her parents’ journey, offering a glimpse into the trials and triumphs of her life. By remembering and recounting her narrative, we not only preserve her legacy but also draw parallels to the present, fostering dialogue on the importance of remembrance, empathy, and collective action.

As we come together in solidarity, let us reaffirm our commitment to never forget and to stand united against intolerance and injustice. RSVP now to reserve your place in this meaningful commemoration of remembrance and resilience.
