As the first Asian American to be ordained as a rabbi, Rabbi Angela Buchdahl joins Washington Hebrew to share the fascinating story of her life in her new book, Heart of a Stranger: An Unlikely Rabbi’s Story of Faith, Identity, and Belonging. This stirring memoir recounts her journey from feeling like an outsider to becoming one of the most admired religious leaders in the world. You’re welcome to join us for a bagel brunch before the program, beginning at 9:45 am. Note: The author is not able to do a book signing, but pre-signed books will be available for purchase.
