Join Moishe House Columbia Heights and 6th & I to celebrate the New Year of the Trees and finally learn what natural wine is at a Tu B’Shvat seder led by Rabbi Nora at Sonny’s Pizza. Dive into nature-inspired texts, learn about wine from Sonny’s Pizza experts, and explore the symbolism behind the fruit, nuts, and four cups of wine enjoyed on this holiday.
Come early for happy hour and meet a new friend over pizza and cocktails (for individual purchase) before we dive into an evening of fruitful reflection and conversation. We will be seated on Sonny’s heated and covered out door patio. Please dress warmly.
This is event is 21+ and tickets are required. Use promo code “moishehouse” when getting your ticket. A wine tasting + seder ticket costs $15 and includes a tasting of 4 wines and a few bites of ritualistic fruits. A non-alcoholic seder ticket costs $0 and includes participation in the seder without wine. Dinner and additional drinks are available for purchase.
