Dancin’ in the Streets: A Simchat Torah Celebration

6:00 pm: Class with Rabbi Jenna 6:30 pm: Happy Hour 7:30 pm: Service and dancing Simchat Torah, which means “Rejoicing in Torah,” is the day when we gather to renew ourselves as we begin the cycle of reading from Genesis once again. Let loose and dance like no one’s watching as you enjoy live music, themed cocktails and mocktails, and lively dancing on I Street. Before the main event, choose from taking a class with Rabbi Jenna diving into the holiday and exploring the first few lines of the Torah, or get social and meet new people at our happy hour. Class: Make it Make Sense — On Simchat Torah, we read the very first lines of Torah and the story of creation. Explore big questions and more through a text study with Rabbi Jenna.
