Join the second annual DC Ladino Day, a celebration of Sephardic language, food, and culture! We’ll explore the Ladino language, hear a panel discussion, and enjoy Ladino music and Sephardic treats. Gather with us as we explore the rich language, history, and culture of the Sephardic world. The day will feature an exploration of the Ladino language with Ladinolinguist Dr. Bryan Kirschen of SUNY Binghamton, an interactive panel discussion on Sephardic Jews in the nation’s service, and a celebratory Ladino musical performance. The day will close with a delicious reception featuring a selection of Sephardic treats (kosher options available). Register early and save! Early bird pricing was $18/person through October 16; ticket prices are $36/person after that date. This event is brought to you in partnership with the Sephardic Jewish Brotherhood of America.
