Dream Interpreters: An Evening With Joseph + Freud

Join Rabbi Anna for an evening of dream interpretation inspired by Joseph, the Torah’s famous dreamer, whose story we’re reading in our most recent Torah portions. Freud called dreams the “royal road to the unconscious.” We’ll look at his approach to dream interpretation, from wish fulfillment to the hidden meanings behind the images that show up in our sleep, and set it alongside traditional Jewish ways of reading dreams. Bring a dream you remember, and together with Joseph and Freud, we’ll attempt to interpret. Everyone welcome. Light snacks provided. Specific location details will be shared with registrants.
