Jewish Page Turners: A Book Club

At our monthly book club, read a book recommended by our rabbis, share your takeaways, and reflect on how the book relates to your own experience of Judaism and spirituality. October’s book is The Amen Effect: Ancient Wisdom to Mend Our Broken Hearts and World by Rabbi Sharon Brous. In our current era of loneliness and isolation, discuss how we can better come together, deepen connections, and build community. We encourage you to order the book from Politics and Prose Bookstore. Upcoming books include God is Here: Reimagining the Divine by Toba Spitzer and Bad Jews: A History of American Jewish Politics and Identities by Emily Tamkin. No one will be turned away from any of our programs due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Director of Community Engagement, Christy.
