Make, Create, Celebrate: A High Holiday Mixed Media Art Workshop

This event has been rescheduled from September 3 to October 13. Join us for a mixed media workshop exploring the holy and mundane of everyday life. As we gather together, we will prepare ourselves for the holiest days in the Jewish calendar – Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We will cut papers, paint, draw and play as we create a personal blessing, hope or prayer for the new year. No artistic or previous Jewish knowledge required. All materials and lots of guidance and support provided. This workshop is for adults and older teens. During the event, there will be a short tour of the exhibit "Sacred and Ordinary… Joyful works from Jewish Tradition and Everyday Life" by Julie Wohl led by the artist. Wine and cheeses will be provided. Fee: $20 JCC Members / $25 Non-members.
